Jonathan Gent

Jonathan Gent is a 27-year-old British painter who has resided in the gallery space of HOTEL throughout February in order to work on a site-specific installation. IN RESIDENCE is Jonathan Gent’s first solo exhibition.

After studying at Cheshire and Edinburgh School’s of Art respectively, Gent moved to Glasgow then Aberdeenshire to forge his practice. He makes drawings and paintings that present an inventive, gnarled vision of human complication.
